Where Did the Company Name Come From?

In one of my previous jobs I discovered Ken Schwaber and corporative discussion lists about Agile as a development method. I was reading Schwaber as belles-lettres. SCRUM perfectly and precisely defined principles how to achieve only what is necessary and exactly what is necessary. Finally, somebody had logically and in a structured manner affirmed my suspicion that an IT project can’t be built the same way as bridges were built once – it must be built differently. Much more differently.

At that time Agile method was represented by Extreme Programming, and attitude towards it was like towards hippies. At least that was my experience when I was talking about it.

What could I do? When establishing my company, I chose a name that declared how we are going to work. With the idea that when clients come to us, they will know what is required from them and what they will get in return. Without any comments like “Aigars, you’re doing it wrong, but somehow it worked out this time”.
